Top Toys For Kids
The toy aisles this time of year can be overwhelming. With so many choices and with the clock ticking, you might feel pressured to just buy something. Tech ranks high on most kid’s wish lists, but classic gifts are popular, too.
The National Retail Federation conducts yearly surveys to find out what kids want. A surprise item this year is the Furby. Sound familiar? That’s because the Furby was a must-have item in the late 90s. It’s since undergone a digital makeover that includes LCD eyes and compatible apps for the iPad.
“Toy trends are ever changing, sometimes proving challenging to parents who want to make their kids happy while staying on budget,” said NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay. ”This year’s top toys are trendy and new, but also have some staying power, meaning children won’t get bored with them within a few weeks.”
